Applications

All in One: 1 Product, 5 Applications, All Advantages

Fluoritray applications on a green appleIn general, Fluoride decreases demineralization of the enamel and promotes re-mineralization by physicochemical mechanisms. The free fluoride ion has a direct effect on the ability of the tooth enamel to resist tooth decay and reduce sensitivity.

Topical teeth fluoridation is considered to be the most effective and safe method as it is not systemic (namely, via body absorption). Today, topical teeth fluorination is applied passively and only in the doctors’ clinic due to the high Fluoride concentration (1.23%F / 2% Sodium Fluoride).

Fluoritray enfolds all advantages in one: iontophoresis and topical application of the highest amount of Fluoride ions, up-to 10 microns penetration requiring a once a year treatment only. In addition, Fluoritray’s electro-chemical activation is extremely effective with only 0.5%F / 1.1% Sodium Fluoride, making it also a Take-Home product.

Dental caries prevention

Dental caries prevention

Oral bacteria in dental plaque ferments sugars to produce a range of organic acids that promote dissolution of tooth enamel leading to the formation of dental caries.  Due to Fluoritray’s unique electrochemical fluorination method, dental caries prevention is the most effective and longest lasting.

Dentinal Hyper-sensitivity (DH) reduction

Dentinal Hyper-sensitivity (DH) reduction

At least 25% of the population suffer from tooth sensitivity, out of which 10% suffered severe pain. The common methods of DH treatment today are Gels, dentifrices, mouthwashes and topically applied agents.
Scientific studies show that the most effective and long-lasting treatment is by applying Fluoride to the teeth by iontophoresis as it enables deeper penetration of fluoride ion into the dentinal tubules.
Fluoritray provides all advantages in one: stable dentinal occlusion with high (10%) fluoroapatite, penetration of...
